I’m Lori, the Recovery Services Manager at Hands of Hope and Chapter Leader for Deeper Still of Southern AZ. I have an MS in Professional and Addictions Counseling from Grand Canyon University and provide grief counseling for pregnancy loss as well as abuse recovery. 

I had an abortion in 1984 and first sought healing 20 years later, attended a Deeper Still Retreat in 2015 and our first AZ retreat was in 2016. I love the desert SW, enjoy hiking in the desert and mountains, and nature photography is a hobby of mine. My life verse is Gen 50:20 and my passion is to see the abortion wounded hearts of women and men healed. 

Our chapter is located in the beautiful Sonoran Desert, and our retreats are in a private retreat center in Hereford, AZ. You will be welcomed by our amazing team of volunteers who look forward to walking with you through the weekend. Take this time to step away from the responsibilities of your life, let your soul rest, and focus on your healing. Our retreats are free of charge and include lodging and meals for the weekend.
